ZIP2DSS is a toolkit, built on NREL's SHIFT library, that turns a single ZIP code into a ready-to-run OpenDSS distribution feeder. It automatically gathers the required map data — Microsoft building footprints, the Census ZIP boundary, and OpenStreetMap roads — drives SHIFT to build the loads, transformers, and primary/secondary networks, and exports OpenDSS files with a network summary. Added optimizations to the network-building step make whole-ZIP runs tractable.
